When you first read or heard this word, what will first come up in your mind? The word by itself has a literal meaning but considering it’s a one word so there should be a non-literal outcome.
Anyways, I first heard the word “workaholic” at work since we had a guy who loves to work and work. And two of my colleagues were talking about him, for he is typically “workaholic”. At first I thought workaholic means a worker who loves to drink alcohol while working. But it make sense to me now, workaholic means a worker who love to work and just work. Just like he is addicted to work but he is sober.
In opposite side, it was really funny because I never love to work. I’d rather stayed home and hug my little angel.
