His 1st Birthday Cake

For my baby’s very special day, we got him a big and small cake. Plus a whole roasted pig for everybody. The party was successful, foods and drinks were abundant and of course, as Filipino tradition, Ziploc baggies were filled for take home. That was the best party we had for a long time. And I am so glad that it was over because too much cleaning when it comes and after the party.

Anyway, we still have the quarter of my baby’s cake on the fridge. And it was the best cake ever!

Happy Birthday!

When I woke up this morning, my mind was overwhelmed with my work. I was trying to went back to sleep but I couldn’t. Then, my husband came out from the shower and greeted my “Happy Birthday!” I asked who’s birthday. And I remembered that it’s my birthday today. Oh gosh… It’s my birthday and I can’t even remember it. Isn’t it means I am really getting older? Actually right now I am celebrating my 1st Quarter of Century birthday. It simply means memory will start to get rusted somehow.

Anyways, every time I think about forgetting my birthday will makes me laugh. Oh well, even though today is my birthday but I guess I still have to go to work. And its about time for me to leave. See you later folks…
